The war on drugs is harming us

It has long been understood that drug use is a medical issue. Thhe Ledain Commission was not some leftist plot, it simply recognized the truth about drugs. Tobacco and alcohol are the most dangerous "drugs", and they are legal. Pot smoking is nowhere near as dangerous as alcohol yet the latter is the preferred drug of the establishment. Why? Well, if you want to control the population to work for the system and produce (i.e. like cattle) then you need to control them. And the hypocrasy is quite clear to the young who frequently prefer to go a different direction than fall down drunk parents do. They puff rather than gulp.
There is no way to show that alcolhol is safer than marijuana, it simply is not true, yet alcohol remains legal? Why? Another reason this prohibition continues may be the profits in alcohol outweigh any calls to restrict its use.
When will people wake up and realize that the restrictions have more to do with control than the harm, otherwise alcohol and cigarettes would be illegal as well. We go after pot dealers and smokers with a vengence yet far more people die from the legal drugs...
People have a right to live their lives as they choose, so long as they are not hurting someone else. We live in a world where the few decide for the many, and how do they do this? They lie and skew the facts to convince the gullible of the worthiness of their goals. This was and still remains nonsensical, and will never yield the results desired. You will never cut out drug use...NEVER.
